One row's details, without leaving the list (a peek, D30). From 1280 wide it sits beside the list as a card that sticks under the bars, and the list keeps its name, status and amount columns; below that it's a sheet from the side, full width on phones (dialog.peek). It reads top to bottom: status, the amount, its activity, two actions and More, the details, then the document.

A catalog item, with its photo
A row with a picture (a thumbnail in the list, D55) shows it large at the top of its record: the card's width at 3:2, with the credit its licence asks for under it. A broken link takes the whole figure away. A long value in the fields ends in an ellipsis; the record never scrolls sideways.

Rules
- A row click peeks (this record, beside the list), unless the thing has its own full-screen window (the job workspace, a vendor's window): then the row opens that, and this record is Quick look, second in the row's ··· menu (D69, L-row-click).
- The activity runs oldest first: a solid line through what happened, a dashed one to the next step (a hollow ring). Job events wear the status mark they moved the job to.
- Two actions and More on one line; when both don't fit, the second moves into More.
- Related: a link to every record the thing connects to (the job's client; an order's vendor, job and the job's client), its kind on the left; they stay out of the fields, and View job isn't repeated in More (D57, L-related). The other way round too: what points at the thing, as a count that links to the list (a vendor's 4 vendor orders, 13 expenses), or None yet in plain text.
- A row with a picture shows it large at the top, with its credit (D55). The record scrolls down, never sideways: a long field value ends in an ellipsis.
- The header: the record's name, wrapping rather than cut short, then open and close. Open is the expand icon with a tooltip naming the record (“Open job”): the record grows into its full view in the same tab (D40). ↗ only marks links that leave the app.
